Public Race Events

Do you love racing? Maybe beating your friends isn’t enough!

Our 2020 Race events are open to any keen racer with no prior racing experience needed!

ALL Racing Events at Slideways Centres in 2020 will feature these 3 Age Categories all on the same race day:

Cadets (7-11 years old)
Juniors (12-15 years old)
Open (15 years and above)

Each round, races 1 and 3 of Juniors and Opens will be SWS points eligible.

Slideways Home Series

The Slideways Home Series is a 5 round series held at each individual Slideways Centre (Brisbane, Gold Coast, Go Karting World).
This series is a great way to get consistent racing in whilst staying local. 2 of the 5 rounds at each centres Home Series will contribute to the 2020 Slideways Championship (More info further down).

Gold Coast

Slideways Championship Series 2020

The Slideways Championship Series is our cream of the crop. Designed for the budding racer who wants to step it up a notch from the Home Series. The Championship Series has 6 rounds at all 3 centres and is designed to test drivers abilities to adapt to different tracks. Motorsport is expensive and we pride ourselves highly on providing a cost effective way to get your racing fix and furthering your motorsport career!

Home Series
All races held on a Sunday with a 7am arrival and sign in – 7:30am Drivers briefing
5 Lap Qualifying
3 x 10 Minute Race Sessions

Cost: $100 per Race Event
Early Bird entries qualify for $25 practice race sessions the week of the event

Slideways Championship Series
All races held on a Sunday with a 7am arrival and sign in – 7:30am Drivers briefing
10 Lap Qualifying
2 x 10 Minute Race Sessions
1 x 15 Minute Final Race session

Cost: $120 per Race Event
Early Bird entries qualify for $25 practice race sessions the week of the event

Equal competition is the name of the game, with our entire fleet of 9HP Honda powered Sodi European Racing Karts benchmark tested for parity prior to all race days.
