A: Absolutely, bookings are essential! Your best bet before heading to the track is to speak to one of our friendly staff by calling (07) 5596 3663 to make a booking.
A: All of our karts have adjustable seats and pedals, ensuring your racing experience is as comfortable as possible.
The minimum height for racing our Pro and Intermediate karts is 145cm, while the kart manufacturer has set maximum driver weight at 130kg. You need to be 14 years old to drive the Pro karts, and 11 years old to drive the Intermediate karts.
For the Cadet karts, the drivers need to be 120cm tall and at least 7 years old.
We also have dual karts for passengers aged at least four years old, with a height of 100-130cm (combined driver and passenger weight of 130kg, with the driver being at least 18 years old).

A: Due to OH&S and insurance considerations, as well as safety of our customers and employees, we have a firm 0.00 blood alcohol content policy. This means we cannot serve alcohol and do have a zero alcohol on venue policy. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who we suspect is intoxicated by drugs or alcohol. Slideways Go Karting is a blast and the racing will keep everyone more than entertained! We have a full range of soft drinks here to keep everyone hydrated until the racing is done and you can head off afterwards to celebrate.
A: The karts are capable of up to 70kph – the legal limit for hire go karts.
On our track, the karts are set up for sheer speed, and fast lap times are achieved by driving nice and straight off the corners. More info can be found on our go karts page.
We also have another indoor facility, Slideways Go Karting Brisbane Eagle Farm. Slideways also have a more traditional outdoor facility just 15 minutes from Nerang and two minutes north of Dreamworld, Slideways Go Karting World at Pimpama.
A: T-shirts and shorts are fine, however covered shoes are required. Thongs, sandals, scarves, hoodies and loose clothing items are not allowed for safety reasons.
A: You are welcome to bring your own helmet, as long as its full face, complies with the AS1698 standard, and has eye protection.
Motorcross style helmets are acceptable so long as you wear goggles.
Unfortunately open face helmets are no longer acceptable.
Many of our helmets already have GoPro mounts attached, so be on the lookout before you hit the track.
A: The track is 475m long and includes a features an incredible three storey layout, cambered berms, ramps, tunnels, hairpins, esses and sweepers, so you can get the real racing experience. More information can be found on our track page.
A: We are located at 10 Spencer Road in Nerang, just off the M1 (between exits 71 and 72).

A: Unfortunately at the moment we do not have a courtesy bus service.
Public transport options are available on the Translink website.
The Nerang train station is 1.4km away, with the nearest bus stop 350m away.
Regular nearby bus services include the 743, 746, 748 & 749.

A: We have a range of cold drinks, chips, confectionery and ice creams available for sale on site.

A: Yes – all drivers aged under 18 years old require a parent/guardian to sign them in at check-in.
A: Unfortunately Slideways Go Karting Venues are for hire karts only, and we do not have facilities for maintaining privately owned karts.
